Saturday, April 7th, 2007

Wonderful news!

The Las Cruces City Council and Mr. Philippou, the developer of The Vistas at Presidio II, have agreed to preserve the Pat Garrett shooting site and marker and to set aside space for a monument to Pat Garrett.

Thanks to everyone who supported this wonderful gift to posterity. There are too many of you to name, and many of you insisted on working without recognition. Thank you!
